Piano for Adults

With the experience of teaching the piano to many adults from beginner to advanced, I have developed a way that ALL students learn music at a faster speed than the "average" time the publisher suggested.
When the student is confident on learning the new concepts and pieces before leaving the lesson, you know that student will be practicing with little to no mistakes during the week. As a results, the student is happy just making the music.
The "perfect cycle" continues week after week so that most of the students are truly enjoy their wonderful musical journey.

For Returning Students

We'll quickly assess your level and immediately start to work on new music that you love! I understand that being an adult with work, family, social life and other obligations, time is limited. So that I would suggest that you may come every other week instead of every week. Don't let other excuses stop you from making music! I'm here to help you.

For competition coaching

As a professional pianist myself, I understand how much time and effort a pianist must put in to prepare for a competition.
I'll provide support for last-minute tune up. Including:
Performance readiness
Mental readiness
Music interpretation
Tips on what to do to get ready and be confident before the competition
Last but not least, you may continue to contact me for any questions after the competition.

Adult-Only recitals

The picture on the right is Cassandra's Piano Studio "Accelerated Piano Adult" after-recital gathering.
I understand that to play in front of children or to perform in a same recital with children can be intimidate to some people. So I've made playing a more enjoyable experience for adult students by hosting an adult-only recital. It is more about sharing the music and document each individual's own musical journey than anything else. I encourage all my students to share their piano learning experiences, we've all benefited from the stories. Truly inspiring.
Many students became life long friends through music. And others found the best accountability partner/s for music. It's great to talk with like-minded people like yourself.
